" We look forward to our vacation time at the Rendezvous all year long. It’s location is perfect: it is close enough to town to walk or bike, but it still wonderfully rural (which is the true grace of Block Island). The nature trail down to Fresh Pond is just outside the door. The house itself is comfortable and practical, with all the amenities of home, plus the obligatory outdoor shower! The deck, which is right outside the kitchen door, is perfect for your morning coffee or an evening cocktail (because it’s high enough it’s virtually mosquito free). There is a great big yard and the house is large enough to allow both children and parents enough room to relax and enjoy their vacation. "

" A perfect place for families! 5 of 5 The large flat yard is a great place to play when you're not busy seeing the sights or visiting town, which is a very short distance away. Bring your own toys (badminton/volleyball equipment etc) to be sure you can make use of the net in the backyard. The roads nearby are flat and quiet -- great for strolling or jogging. We saw lots of Monarch butterflies and found some blackberries along the way. The house easily accommodates a large group without feeling cramped: the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and eating at home, there are lots of places to sit and hang out, and plenty of beds available. The owners are wonderful -- responsive and helpful with any concerns that arise. "

" Wonderful location and so much room!!! Couldn't have asked for a better house to stay in on block island. Owners were very responsive and easy to deal with !! "

" This was the perfect vacation for our group/family, for our Nephew's Wedding weekend getaway. There was thirteen in our party and each family had more than enough space so we weren't bumping into each other and just enjoy the island. The distance from town was just the right amount, close enough to drive but far enough so you didn't hear all the noise. There is plenty to do at the house or you can just relax if you want to. The owners were available whenever we had questions, and very accommodating. We would recommend this property to everyone. "

" A group of us (5 couples in their early 30's) rented this house and it was perfect. Although the home could seem ideal for families with children, it accommodated the 10 of us just as well!! Very spacious, close to town, incredible view, clean and with all amenities needed - we were VERY happy with the rental. The owners were also very sweet and easy to deal with. Overall we had a terrific experience and would absolutely rent again -- and hope to! "

" This was a family trip for mostly 1st time Island visitors, and couldn't have suited us better. Nice view (but not panoramic) of Clay Head and Mansion Beach in the distance. Surrounding hedges created privacy. Owners were very helpful and patient as we navigated the rental process, and made a special trip to the house just before we got there to make a repair. I would definitely recommend for any large group. Easy walk to Greenway trails, deer greeted us daily in the driveway. "

" The house is very good for lots of kids who can stay upstairs in the two bedrooms with innumerable beds while adults are noise free downstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen, dining and living area. Has all the necessities covered. Love the view at night of the Newport Bridge.. Town less than 10 minutes away and favorite beach less than 15. We really enjoyed dining outside at the Spring House. Owners easy to work with and daughter local in summer. As long as you don't take our week, I recommend it! "

" Great house on Block! Where do we begin?! For the second year in a row we had a fabulous time staying at the Rendezvous House. The house is extremely comfortable, clean, and well equipped with anything you should need. With its large open kitchen/living/deck area you never feel crowded plus the enclosed outdoor shower is the best! The owners are absolutely wonderful to deal with and are extremely attentive/helpful through the entire rental process. Highly recommend this property--we had a great time and will be back!! "

" The Rendezvous House is the perfect vacation home for a large family or multiple families. The rooms are large and comfortable and the updated kitchen is fully equipped. The deck has a nice view and the large yard is perfect for kids (and adults) to play volleyball, cornhole, etc. The nearby dirt roads and ponds are to great to explore, see wildlife and kayak, and it's only a short drive to the town and beaches! The owners are very helpful and accommodating. We had an amazing time! "

" We stayed at the house for a bachelorette party. The space was ideal for our needs; lots of beds, updated kitchen, great seating space both inside and outside. We could walk/bike to Mohegan Bluffs and town. I would highly recommend this property! "
